ImmPRESS™ Reagents can also be used for localizing two antigens in the same tissues sections, even using two antibodies of the same species. After one antigen has been reacted with the first primary antibody and localized with ImmPRESS™ Reagent and a peroxidase substrate, the tissue is blocked once again with diluted normal horse serum. The second primary antibody is now added, followed by incubation in the appropriate ImmPRESS™ Reagent. A different peroxidase substrate is then used to identify the location of the second antigen. By choosing peroxidase substrates that give the highest contrast and selecting the order of staining the two antigens, multiple labeling in the same tissue section using ImmPRESS™ reagents can be easily achieved.
