This product is prepared from Aspergillus niger glucose oxidase and Avidin D. Our method of conjugation results in a reagent with maximum retention of enzyme activity and low nonspecific binding characteristics. Since mammalian tissues do not contain glucose oxidase, this enzyme conjugate can be used when endogenous enzymes may mask specific staining or where chemical treatment to eliminate endogenous enzymes may destroy antigenic determinants.
