Mouse-On-Mouse Immunodetection Kit, Vector® M.O.M.™ Kit (Basic)
BMK-2202
| The Vector® M.O.M.™ Basic kit, BMK-2202, contains a general nonspecific blocking solution, a novel agent to block endogenous mouse immunoglobulin, and a proprietary biotinylated anti-mouse IgG (H+L) secondary antibody, but does not include an avidin-based detection system. This allows for any avidin or streptavidin conjugate to be used for visualization. For example, Texas Red® Avidin DCS would be an option for fluorescence detection, or the VECTASTAIN® ABC-AP Standard Reagent with any of the Vector® alkaline phosphatase substrates could be used as the enzyme staining method of choice. |
| This Vector® M.O.M.™ kit contains sufficient stock reagents to provide approximately 25 ml of working solution, which is usually enough to stain about 250 mouse tissue sections. |
In addition, the Vector® M.O.M.™ Basic kit can be used to localize two different mouse primary antibodies in the same mouse tissue section. By using a multiple antigen staining protocol, two fluorescent avidin labels or two enzyme-based stains can be introduced on one section.
