This kit utilizes nitroblue tetrazolium as the chromogen and produces a purple/blue precipitate. Sections stained with this substrate can be dehydrated and permanently mounted in non-aqueous media. This substrate can be employed singly or in combination with other substrates in multiple label protocols.
