The DAB kit is useful for immunohistochemical and nitrocellulose applications. The DAB kit contains nickel, providing the option of changing the reaction product from brown to gray/black and increasing sensitivity in blot applications. Slides developed with either reaction product can be dehydrated and permanently mounted.
