The TMB kit contains a stabilizer which allows the blue reaction product to precipitate on nitrocellulose, producing a very sensitive detection system for western blots. This substrate is also a very sensitive stain for immunohistochemical and in situ hybridization applications, and is an excellent choice for enzyme immunoassay development.
