Vector® VIP substrate kit produces an intense, violet-colored precipitate useful as an alternative substrate to DAB or as a second color for multiple label immunohistochemical staining and in nitrocellulose blots. Vector® VIP stained sections can be dehydrated and permanently mounted. Sections stained with this substrate also can be viewed by darkfield microscopy, and can be visualized by electron microscopy.
