VECTABOND™ Reagent, TISSUE SECTION ADHESIVE

SP-1800
VECTABOND™ Reagent is designed to significantly enhance the adherence of both frozen and paraffin-embedded tissue sections and cell preparations to glass slides and coverslips. Once mounted onto VECTABOND™ Reagent treated slides, tissue sections will remain attached even when subjected to the most extreme conditions, such as high temperature antigen unmasking techniques and in situ hybridization.

VECTABOND™ Reagent treated slides can be stored for long periods while still retaining their maximum adhesive properties. This product does not coat slides with a glue or denatured protein, but chemically modifies the glass to form a highly adherent surface. It is suitable for all types of tissue section preparations and avoids the common problems associated with traditional coating agents, such as instability and protease susceptibility. VECTABOND™ Reagent is provided as a 7 ml concentrate that dilutes to 350 ml of treatment solution, sufficient for at least 500 standard slides.
