Levamisole Solution , (Alkaline Phosphatase Inhibitor)

| When some frozen tissues are stained with an alkaline phosphatase detection system, endogenous alkaline phosphatase activity sometimes produces an undesirable background. To eliminate this problem, levamisole, an inhibitor of alkaline phosphatase, can be added to the substrate solution. Levamisole will not inhibit the isoenzyme from which our VECTASTAIN® ABC-AP reagents or other alkaline phosphatase conjugates are made. |
| This reagent is supplied as a 100X concentrate. Provided in a convenient drop dispensing bottle, one drop of levamisole concentrate is added to 5 ml of substrate solution. |
